Shipping
All goods are packaged carefully and beautifully. We love gift wrapping and making the parcel very special for you to receive. If you do not want gift wrapping please tell us in the note to us section of the cart.
All weights are volumetric. Even though a product may weigh very little, its volumetric weight will cost more than its real weight to send.
eg. a drying rack is 3kg, volumetrically it is just over 10kg.

Rural delivery - plus $3.00 to North Island and South Island charges.
For orders or products over 10kg (either by weight or volume) heavy goods freight is charged.
Auckland does not have heavy goods shipping. It remains at $6.00
We use PBT couriers and CourierPost.
If you or your gift recipient are not home (and you have not suggested they can leave at the door), a card to call will be left in the letterbox. We use CourierPost for PO Box addresses or if you live on Waiheke Island and some rural delivery addresses. We will always endeavor to write the phone number on the package. Your parcel should arrive within 5 working days of receipt of order, rural delivery may take a little bit longer. This is subject to product availability, we will always advise if there is an expected delay.
Please remember to let us know if your address is a "rural delivery" by selecting the correct freight area and choosing rural delivery.
If the incorrect freight option is selected, we can contact you by email to arrange payment of the difference.
International
We do send orders internationally. Depending on where you are, freight will be determined at the checkout, except for large bulky items we quote the freight separately. Our prices include NZ GST (goods and services tax), GST is not applicable for overseas orders. So we put that value toward the cost of shipping. Therefore the freight charges shown on the cart are less than what they actually cost us. If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to contact us.

All orders are sent with New Zealand Post or DHL. Delivery time frames are listed below. Any additional taxes or customs duties that are incurred within the recipients country are the responsibility of the buyer/recipient. These may include QUARANTINE charges, expecially for things like wood or brushware. Goods are insured up to the value of $2000. You can expect that items will usually arrive at their destination within the time frame specified. But because NZ Post does not directly control all parts of the delivery chain, they cannot guarantee that your item will always reach its destination within the delivery target. Delivery to areas outside major cities, or where your item is dutiable or held in Customs, may take longer.
Once the order is ready for dispatch, delivery takes:
Australia 2-3 days (except for around Christmas time, we will advise cut off dates for Christmas delivery)
South Pacific 2-5 days (express courier only available)
East Asia and North America 4-6 days
UK and Europe 5-6 days
Rest of world 2-5 days (express courier only available)
